There is a kind of street cred that college and university students get over the course of higher education, two kinds actually.

One kind is call 'post-secondary' street cred, it is the larger-more vague category of student's street cred.

Example
Person A: "My roommate really-truly ate nothing but Minute Rice for the last 2 weeks, tough times"
Person B: "That's hardcore."

Post-secondary street cred is tied to being a student but not academics specifically. Academic street cred is all about academic stunts in particular.

Example
Student A: "Last semester my lab partner stayed awake for 30 hours straight in order to finish a project he should have started a month prior. Xbox is evil yo - but I think Monster (the beverage brand) hired him as a spokesperson afterward."
Student B: "Nice! Yesterday the guy beside me fell asleep during our midterm, I didn't notice until he woke up with a scantron sheet stuck to his face. He finished it before we ran out of time . . . I hope he didn't ACDC that one.

That's the kind of street cred us students get. Got any street cred on campus? Know any verified and credible tales of daring and desperation?

I walked past a Hallmark store yesterday and some guy in a Santa costume was there - Hallmark has already deployed Santa. I couldn't even say , "Come on it's not even December yet" because it's not even NOVEMBER yet.

Breath

Some people, many people, have bad breath. Sometimes bad breath smells like food, but it's not a pleasant aroma like a what you experience when you walk past a kitchen. Sometimes bad breath smells like a compost heap or coagulated cow blood. I used to work at a butcher shop and thus I know what coagulated cow blood smells like. And yes sometimes people's breath reminds me of coagulated cow blood. Sometimes people's bad breat smells like "Hey try this new gum I bought its really good" or "Hello, your breath is sick enough to make a dog gag" or "You breath could stun a yak" or "Stop breathing on me or I'll Karate chop you in the ear".

The scientific term for bad breath is halitosis you can look that up on Wikipedia. Sometimes when someone is told he/she has bad breath he/she says, "Dude I just brushed my teeth!" But chances are his/her teeth didn't really stink, it is probably the rest of his/her mouth, you know - the soft fleshy parts. People often fail to brush the toungue and, the sides and roof of the mouth.

If you didn't know before then now you know that bad breath is one of the things that urks me perhaps more than it should. If you aren't cool with that then I have one thing to say to you,

"Brush your face Juicebag."
